Advanced Imaging and Image Processing
Multi-modality cardiovascular imaging for patient-specific diagnosis, follow-up and fusion imaging is utilized for advanced clinical investigations, and are coupled with advanced biomedical research towards enhancing the clinical value of imaging. The available advanced AHC imaging facilities are linked to the centre’s Pacs Systems, such as Paxera and Med streaming. This allows the Biomedical Group to access digitalized reports and DICOM datasets in close interaction with the Radiology Department using multi-modality imaging (CMR, incl. Siemens 4D velocity encoded flow, T1 mapping, tagging, motion tracking, and other; MSCT incl. CCTA, 2D/3D ECHO and Tissue Doppler, and invasive cathlab imaging tools, such as intravascular echo and optical cohesion tomography (OCT).
